This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract with option periods with only one source, Edwards Lifesciences LLC, to provide HemoSphere 360 Light Protection Service Plan for Cardiac Output Monitors at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source award under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources that feel they can meet the Government s requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: the System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity ID (UEI), and the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), along with documentation that the vendor is an authorized distributor/reseller. All offerors must have an active registration in SAM at www.sam.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information will be retained as Market Research. All responses must be received by 12:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. The Minneapolis VA Medical Center requires Patient and Employee Satisfaction Survey Services as described in the Statement of Work below. This will be a Brand Name or Equal procurement for the TruthPoint Digital Patient Rounding Platform. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only looking for businesses to provide the services listed in the Statement of Work below for market research purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR PRICING AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Responses to this notice will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. The information provided will be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy regarding possible set aside for Veteran Owned and other socio-economic categories of small business. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
