The Dublin VA Medical Center anticipates a new requirement for a contractor to provide three new 500-ton York Magnetic Bearing Chiller (Model No: YMC2-51758AB or equivalent) to replace the existing malfunctioning 500-ton chiller for the Engineering department. The contractor will provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete the work. Work will consist of the installation, calibration, assembly, demolition, and commissioning of three (3) new chillers. All work must be in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal codes, rules, and regulations. Impact shall be minimized and mitigated in a way that limits disruption to the functioning of the Medical Center. The performance will occur at the Government location and Government furnished property will not be provided. The Dublin VAMC is located at 11826 Veterans Blvd, Dublin GA 31021. The work shall include: Contractor shall provide a three new 500-ton York Magnetic Bearing Chiller (Model No: YMC2-51758AB or equivalent) to replace the existing malfunctioning 500-ton chiller in Building 27 chiller room. Exiting equipment (500 tons chiller and the associated equipment, pump, concrete pads et cetera) must be removed by this contractor and transported to a location as per the COR directions. Any modifications made to the building for the removal or entry of new equipment must be approved by the COR (written request). If a modification to the building is made, the contractor must return the building to its original state after work is complete. Contractor must protect the existing building, equipment, etc. from any damage. Any damage to any part to be corrected immediately and to be inspected by the COR for compliance. A start-up checklist must be completed and provided to the COR once the work has been completed for the newly installed chiller. The contractor shall, to the best of their ability, prevent any contamination of the water supply feeding the facility s utility water system during and immediately after the installation. .
