THIS PROJECT WILL BE ADVERTISED AS A STAND-ALONE "C" TYPE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BEST VALUE TRADEOFF SOLICITATION.
THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE FOR THIS PROJECT IS 236220. A Subcontracting Plan will not be required.
The solicitation will be available for download on or around 03 October 2024. The estimated cost of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The contracting officer is Eric J. Hurtado.
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract pursuant to this solicitation. The B9101 GPO Renovation and NASA Roof Replacement is a design bid build construction project located at Stennis Space Center, MS. The project involves the expansion of printing operations, Roof Replacement, and renovation of Administration Offices for the GPO. Work includes all structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC connections to accommodate equipment being installed by GPO. Replacement of 300,000 s.f. of roof shall be done IAW the plans and specs. The Administration Offices renovations will include architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC in order to meet GPO and NASA needs.

Note No. 5: The request for information (RFI) process for bidder inquiries during the advertisement period will be through the ProjNet internet-based system, and specifics will be contained in the RFP solicitation package available exclusively from the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) website https://piee.eb.mil. Other forms of communicating RFIs to the Government will not be honored. The Government will try to respond to all questions. However, responses may not be furnished to all questions and particularly those received late in the advertisement period (0-10 days prior to bid opening.)
