EFFECTIVE 6 SEPTEMBER 2020: The government has issued Amendment No 0001, authorizing the submission of "emailed Bids." Please refer to the Attachments Section hereunder this Notice to obtain a copy.
By way of this Solicitation Notice, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues the construction solicitation package hereunder, which is provided for bidding purposes. The construction project is entitled: ""Maintenance Dredging in the Kenosha Harbor, Kenosha County, Wisconsin (USACE-CHICAGO DISTRICT PROJECT).”
Project Description: The contractor will mobilize to Kenosha Harbor, WI and dredge as shown on the enclosed plan sheets. Dredging requirements are further specified via the attachments enclosed hereunder this notice.

ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is restricted to 100% Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, with a small business size standard in dollars of $30M for dredging. Dredging projects: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.
The magnitude of construction costs is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
