Amendment 0001: This amendment adds FAR clause 52.237-1 Site Visit: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

This requirement is designated with a Small Business set-aside of Total Small Business and associated with NAICS code: 333912 and a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
The 167th Airlift Wing, Martinsburg, WV is requesting a quote for a 75 HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor. This requirement is being requested based on price alone without discussions being held. To be considered technically acceptable you must provide a quote that meets all specifications listed in the saliant characteristics.
This requirement is for the purchase of a Sullair Model D-543 75 HP Direct Driven Rotary Screw Air Compressor (or equal), Sullair TD-543 Electronic Drains (or equal), Installation, and Removal and disposal of old air compressor. ALL QUOTED PRODUCTS MUST MEET THE SALIANT CHARACTERISTICS LISTED BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE.

- Must be 460 volt
- Must have 2” npt connections
- Must include three (3) micron coalescing housings and filters with 2” npt connections
- Must have internal or external air dryer tied into compressor to dry the air
2. Three (3) EA Sullair TD-543 Electronic Drains (or equal)
- Must be 110v/1
- Must have 6’ or longer power cord
3. Air compressor that is to be replaced is on the second floor of a maintenance hangar. Contractor is
responsible for removing old compressor from work site. Disposal of old compressor must meet all state and federal regulations.
