Project: MT FLAP VALLEY 20(1), Duck Creek Road
This project consists of work on 4.85 miles of gravel road in Valley County, Montana. The project begins at the intersection of Duck Creek Road with Montana Secondary Highway 24, approximately fifteen (15) miles southeast of Glasgow, Montana. The project work consists of three discrete segments for upgrades, as follows: Segment 1 (milepost 0.0 to 1.1) - reconstruct & widen deteriorated asphalt roadway from 24' to 28' with new asphalt to better accommodate RV/Boat/truck traffic and pedestrians; segment 2 (milepost 1.1 to 2.6) - maintain 30' width and resurface with 6" of gravel with dust palliative. Reduce existing steep grade for better RV/truck/boat traffic safety; and segment 3 (milepost 2.6 to 4.85) - surface reconditioning and aggregate surface placement. The work includes drainage, roadway reconditioning, asphalt surfacing, aggregate surfacing, aggregate stabilization, pavement markings and signage.
