This sources sought notice is a market survey to assess interest among small business firms in particpating in a solicitation for a five year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Construction Services in suport of construction projects in the range of $2,000 to $250,000 at various Government-owned buildings and leased buildings in San Francisco, Oakland, and other nearby areas in California. The counties that are anticipated to be covered by the BOA include but are not limited to: San Francisco, Contra Costa, Sonoma, San Mateo, and Alameda. The BOA would be multiple award.
The applicable North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard for this code is $45,000,000.
The typical services anticipated under the BOA include Construction, Alterations, and Repair of the following:
A. Architectural components including but not limited to ceilings, walls, floors, roofing systems, millwork, and wall coverings
B. Mechanical systems to include but not limited to air handling units, chillers, boilers, ductwork systems and accessories, piping systems including pumps, HVAC system controls, fire protection sprinkler systems and accessories, and plumbing equipment/accessories
C. Electrical systems to include but not limited to: lighting systems, primary and secondary power distribution systems and transformers
D. Exterior equipment and facility work
E. Other miscellaneous construction work
The results of this survey will be used in acquisition planning, which includes determining whether a set-aside is appropriate, determining the type of set-aside (e.g. small business set-aside, 8(a), etc.), and determining general market interest, for a future solicitation.

8. Your firm's capacity to handle at least 2 orders at one time and ability to begin performance within 7 calendar days of receiving an award
9. List of recent Government contracts awarded for the same/similar requirements, if available
