The purpose of this Contract is to provide hoist inspection services. The performance requirements of the service must be in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to inspect and evaluate hoist, lifts, and cranes equipment to be able to operate safely and continue the Civil Engineer mission at Goodfellow AFB. After the inspection, the contractor will provide the squadron with a comprehensive written report for each piece of equipment signed certifying all equipment is in certifiable condition or non-certifiable with what type of required maintenance. The contractor inspector(s) shall have proper certification from an accredited crane operator testing organization and a minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience and training related to maintaining, inspecting, servicing, and repairing hoist or weigh scales. Have working knowledge of how to identify deficiencies to mechanical, structural, electrical or any other components of hoist and weighing equipment.
The Base Year inspection shall be completed as soon as possible after date of award, but no later than 30 days after award IAW the PWS.
Type of Contract and NAICS: This RFQ will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract and will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811310-Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the small business size standard is no greater than $12.5 million.
Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside.
Registrations: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. It is the Contractor's responsibility to monitor the SAM.gov website for information, updates, and amendments regarding the solicitation.
