**Amendment 0001** 
The purpose of this amendment is to remove Barkley Chain Design and Q9-M-101 reference under 252.236-7001


**Amendment 0002**
The purpose of this amendment is to extend bid due date to 8 July 2024, no later than 12:00PM Central Time and remove “bond” verbiage from Bidder Instructions

**Amendment 0003**

The purpose of this amendment is to update drawings Q9-M-102, Q9-M-103 and Q9-M-101 in plans and update Section 35 01 41, Paragraph 2.2.4 in specifications. Updated plans and specifications will be provided under the attachments tab.


PURPOSE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE}, Nashville District (LRN), is issuing an lnvitiation for Bid (IFB), Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract for Lake Barkley Spillway Gate Chains Fabrication. Contractor will be required to fabricate all components necessary to replace all of Lake Barkley Dam Spillway Gate Chains. Contract will be for fabrication only, USACE personnel will perform installation of the lifting chains at a later date. Each lifting chain is made up of around 1,000 metallic components in various quantities of chains, pins, collars, washers, etc.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and delivery of new spillway gate lifting chains. The contractor will, at a minimum, fabricate chains for three gates (6 total chain lengths) for the base of the contract and option years will be for varying quantities of additional chains (up to 24 total lengths) depending on available funding. Spillway gate chains consist of pins (of varying length), side bars, spacer sleeves, collars, washers, and retainer rings. The total length of one chain is roughly 80 feet. Machining for grease grooves/ports will also be required.

DELIVERY DATE: 270 calendar days after notice of award.

TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside. 


SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract.
