Nashville District greatly appreciates the interest and engagement by our industry partners at the Kentucky Lock Industry Day on 18 September 2024.
The anticipated solicitation timeframe and acquisition method for the Kentucky Lock Operational contract have changed from what was messaged at the event.
Nashville District will no longer pursue the use of Integrated Design and Construction (IDaC) for the remaining construction contract work at Kentucky Lock.
USACE will continue to provide updates on SAM.gov in the coming months and will continue to engage with our valued industry partners.

In reference to the Kentucky Lock Operational Contract Industry day that was held on 18 September 2024, please see the attached Slide deck presentation, industry day attendance list, and project labor agreement questionnaire.
Project Labor Agreement (PLA) - This questionnaire is an effort for USACE Nashville to receive feedback from industry. We value your thoughts, experience and concerns in better understanding the impact that PLAs past and present and the effect you have experienced as a result of project labor agreements.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is hosting an Industry Engagement Day,
Location(s): Kentucky Dam Village Meeting Room (Kickoff Meeting) & Kentucky Lock (Project Site Tour)

Date/Time: 18 September 2024, 8:30 am to 2:45 pm, Central Time
A presentation will be provided which will include general timeline and a general overview of the project. An opportunity for a guided site visit will also be provided.
NOTE: For site tour, please wear sturdy walking shoes and long pants. Hardhats & vests will be provided by USACE, as needed.
