Project Description: The intent of the contract is to provide for the construction and completion of the work described. Furnish all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.
The work shall consist of the removal and construction of 4-wire fence with associated braces and gates. Removal of all T-posts, fence wire and line braces, corner braces and line posts, and clearing of brush and downfall to clear the fence line for new construction.
Project Location: The Meadow Creek Fence project location is on the Wisdom Ranger District, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest and the Bureau of Land Management, in Beaverhead County, Montana. The Meadow Creek Fence project area is approximately 4 miles west of Wise River, Montana. General elevation in the project area varies from approximately 6,000 feet. The elevation of the fence fluctuation is approximately 1000 feet in areas. The topography of the fences varies from extremely steep and rocky to fairly level but rocky. The landscape ranges from grassland/shrubland to Douglas fir timber stands.
The Eagle Rock Ranch Fence is approximately 7 miles south of Wise River, Montana, just off the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway. General elevation of the project area varies from approximately 6,100 feet. The fence areas are fairly flat. The landscape ranges from pasture to Douglas fir timber stands.
MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION (per FAR 36.204(b)): Between $100,000 and $250,000
