Description
The Rathbun Lake Project is located on the Chariton River in Appanoose County, Iowa. It is approximately 5 miles north of Centerville, Iowa, and about 16 miles north of the Iowa-Missouri state line. The project includes multiple parks and public access areas many of which have recreational fire rings and grills. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide weekly removal of burnt contents, debris, and trash within and adjacent to all fire rings and grills. Included with this work is an option to remove and install fire rings. These services are necessary to support the recreational component of the Rathbun Lake Project. Furthermore, the contract requirements are directly related to public health, sanitation, and fire mitigation.
