The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina intends to award a government order to the vendor/contractor who can provide the most cost effective means in obtaining two industrial natural gas dryers for the Laundry Department. These dryers will be used for drying of inmate uniforms. The dryer needs to be able to withstand high heat and heavy loads. The drying performance needs to maximize output to meet the daily workload. These dryers need to be equipped with high-performance heater boxes to increase energy efficiency and reduce drying times to help on-premises laundries increase the output, while decreasing operating costs. The capacity of the dryers must meet that which is 170 lbs. The dryers must be equipped with dual digital control. The dimensions must fall within overall width- no more than 52.9 inches; overall depth - no more than 69.8 inches; and overall height - no more than 94 inches. As for the cylinder, the cylinder diameter must not be larger than 50.8 inches. The cylinder depth must not be more than 42.5 inches and the cylinder volume must not be more than 4.8 inches. Must have gas connection. The door must have an observation window. Must have an automatic back draft damper and a self-cleaning lint screen. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, South Carolina 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contracting official intends to make this award on an all or none basis. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with price considered equally. All responsible business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 22, 2021, and will be posted here to the beta.SAM.gov website: http://beta.sam.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions.
