SOURCES SOUGHT:   THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATION IN JBE081, F-22 Fuel Dispensing System JBER, ALASKA.  THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska.  A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.

Items: 

  1. ENRAF Servo Gauge Model 954 ATG (ENRAF ATG system) (NAICS 332420)

System provides automatic tank gauging and is required for all large fuel tanks (capacity greater than 30,000 gallons) and provides calculation of fuel volume in a tank.

  1. Schneider Electric ION 8650 series advanced utility meter (NAICS 334513)

System performs electrical readings for service entrances including but not limited to current, voltage, frequency, active/reactive/apparent power, power factor, and present and demand value.  Remote monitoring of the electrical utility meter is required. 

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.  No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of JBE081 F-22 Fuel Dispensing System, JBER, Alaska solicitation.

Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.
  2. Fully detailed specification sheets.
  3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
