12/5/2024: Updated description to reflect number of units to be purchased is equal to 60 and the brand name (make and model) is "Zoll AED 3" and Sole Source Justification attachment was replaced with redacted version. 

The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Jacksonville safety department is required to inspect, maintain and replace all automated external defibrillators (AED’s) devices within the organization and ensure that each device complies with the cognizant regulations and policies that covers its operation. The contractor shall provide 60 brand-name "Zoll AED 3" units in accordance with Section C of the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) N6852025R0017. The brand name justification required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 for this procurement is provided as an attachment. 

Solicitation/Request for Quotes Information

All quotes/ responses shall be submitted via email to Jenna Lang at jenna.l.lang2.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 15:00 EST on 11 December 2024. 

N6852025R0017 is issued as a competitive procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a competitive basis for this requirement under FAR Parts 12 and 13.

Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

**Basis for Award**

Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided. The award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price capable of meeting the requirements in the Statement of Work. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price. A determination by the Government not to accept the proposal for not meeting the minimum requirements is solely within the discretion of the Government.
