The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 08- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (meeting the below salient characteristics) for Enteral Feeding Pumps for medical equipment at a firm fixed price for the C.W. Bill Young VA Healthcare System, 10,000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744. CLIN 0001 Brand Name Description: Kangaroo Omni Enteral Feeding Pumps Manufacturer: Cardinal Health Manufacturer Item Number: 385400 Quantity: 58 each Delivery: 30 Days After Receipt of Order Draft Salient Characteristics: C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center Enteral Feeding Pump Brand Name or Equal Referenced Product: Kangaroo Omni Enteral Feeding Pumps, Part # 385400 Equal item must meet the specifications listed below. Quotes must include an explanation of how the equal item meets each specification. Awardee must provide a quantity of 58 Enteral Feeding Pumps to the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL, 33744, as defined by the salient characteristics listed below. Enteral Feeding Pump (QTY 58EA) Shall include the following features: Must provide a backlit screen and an easy to see visual of feeding status in both bright and dark rooms. Must have capability of automated flushing to reduce tube clogging Must have capability of providing thicker formulas Must have at least a 30-day feed and flush history Must have a visual and auditory alarm to indicate tube occlusion and other pump errors Must be capable of providing both continuous and intermittent feeding. Must have both AC power and battery power with a minimum of 20 hours of back-up power Must be able to lock the screen Must be mountable to a IV pole. Additional mounting capabilities are a plus. Must be able to monitor interruptions and missed feeding. Equipment must be able to withstand cleaning with both an alcohol and bleach based solutions. Required tube feeding sets must be DEHP free Operating noise must be no greater than 37dB Accuracy of feeding must be +/- 5% or less Equipment must be able to withstand cleaning under running water (but submerging is not required) Must come with software Training must be provided DELIVERY SCHEDULE 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
