The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New Orleans District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Wire Rope for the Dredge Wheeler.
This requirement will be issued unrestricted under request for proposal W912P824R0041.
It is being procured as a firm fixed price under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The designated NAICS code is 332618, with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
The requirement is a list of the various wire rope for the USACE Dredge Wheeler located in New Orleans, LA. The contractor shall provide wire rope only. The contractor shall test, inspect, preserve, stencil, and deliver items listed in schedule of supplies / service in strict accordance with this specification and those specified in the following item descriptions.

The solicitation will be issued on or about 16 Aug 2024, and a due date for quotes will be established in the solicitation. The instructions and closing date and time for submission of quotes will be contained in the solicitation notice and package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 16 Aug 2024, on SAM.gov. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register on SAM.gov in order to receive notification(s) and/or change(s) to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the SAM.gov web site. Prospective contractors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the sam.gov website under IVL. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. You will need the adobe acrobat reader for .pdf files (www.adobe.com) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. Offerors are also encouraged to post notices of prospective subcontracting opportunities on the Small Business Administration’s Subnet, at http://web.sba.gov/subnet.
