This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted within 7 calendar days. The RFQ document will incorporate provisions and clauses. The Contractor shall provide asbestos abatement project monitoring and air sampling/testing services, inclusive of all labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, laboratory analyses and incidentals to perform project monitoring and air sampling/testing of asbestos abatement activities performed by others at VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS) facilities in accordance with the Statement of Work. This procurement action is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All prospective contractors must be registered in SAM.gov, Duns and Bradstreet (www.dnb.com) and are verified/visible/certified in SBA Certification portal (www.https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/) at the time of quote submission in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. Period of performance shall be 30 Calendar Days from the Award date. The Magnitude of Contract shall be between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, and Size Standard is $19.0 million.
