SOURCES SOUGHT:  THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY.  This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. No funds re available to pay for preparation of the responses to the is announcement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is strictly voluntary.

The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA910125QHECB and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.

Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government’s requirement for new heat exchanger cooling bundles in accordance with the attachments.  The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 332410, Power Boiler and Heat Exchanger Manufacturing.  The size standard for this NAICS is 750 employees.  

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Please provide a capability package including:

  • Company Information: Company name, company address, and telephone number and e- mail address of company point of contact.
  • Business size under NAICS code 332410.
  • System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number.
  • Indicate if you are the manufacturer or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying.
  • Estimated Period of Performance (in weeks) that it would take to complete the work as stated in this sources sought, along with a budgetary cost estimate.

The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to a company, or to contact a company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request.

Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Be advised that all submission become Government property and will not be returned. The government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.

Please note:  All vendors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.  The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
