GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Under the planned contract, the contractor will be required to remove 5 existing tainter gates from the Appleton Lower Dam, properly dispose of four of the gates, load one of the gates onto a truck for transportation by others to a corps partnered research facility, perform concrete restoration as necessary, furnish and install new tainter gates. There are a total of 5 tainter gates to be replaced.
The Appleton Lower Dam is located in Appleton, Wisconsin on the Fox River. The existing gates were to have been refurbished, but were found to be in advanced disrepair and the Government requires replacement instead of refurbishment. Structural drawings have been prepared to adequately describe the steel fabrication. The contractor will be responsible to ensure that the concrete gate piers are touched up following gate removal and properly sized to receive the new gates.

USACE and USDA-ARS entered into an agreement for CENWO to serve as design and construction agent to build a new Dairy Forage Research Center (DFRC) at the USDA-ARS site at Prairie du Sac, WI. The DFRC supports the USDA-ARS’s mission to accommodate up to 452 lactating cows (maximum), 144 calves, 1300 acres of crops production, 900 acres of pasture and perennials, 12 permanent researchers and staff, up to 12 operations and maintenance personnel, and up to 10 student researchers.
The US Dairy Forage Research Center is located on an approximately 75-acre site on the recently acquired Badger Army Ammunition Plant (BAAP) in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. The Center includes 18 buildings and support structures interconnected by manure collection, transport, and digester system; the approximate combined gross square footage of construction is 642,000 Gross Square Foot (GSF). Construction of approximately 254,003 Building Gross Square Foot (BGSF) of new production, research, operations, and maintenance facilities and supporting infrastructure. Most of the center's construction will be comprised of pre-framed, pre- engineered metal buildings supported on concrete spread footings with the exception of the Lab and Administration Building which will have a laminated wood building structure supported on spread footings with preformed metal panel exterior enclosure.

The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center is requesting professional qualification statements (SF-330s) from qualified firms for the architect and engineering (A-E) services of a licensed land surveyor for the performance of legal boundary surveys for projects located throughout the State of Wisconsin.
The Contractor shall be licensed and registered in the State of Wisconsin. The Contractor shall provide legal boundary surveys and re-surveys of easements under the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program components: Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE), Emergency Watershed Protection Program-Floodplain Easements (EWPP-FPE); Health Forest Reserve Program (HFRP); and all Farm Bill 2018 Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) U.S. held easements, RCPP-HRFP, and RCPP-WRE easements.
Survey work shall consist of performing all surveys, measurements, computations, drawings, and descriptions according to attached Land Survey Specifications for NRCS Easement Programs.

This contract is for the inspection of one MOBILE CRANE located at Lock and Dam 5a, Fountain City, WI. The contractor shall functionally test all hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems through full range of operation in accordance with requirements outlined in the EM 385-1-1. The main and auxiliary hoists are to be functionally tested without load to verify the proper operation of controls. Verify safety devices for proper operation. All friction brakes will be disassembled, inspected, and measured. Brake measurements will be compared to manufacturer requirements for minimum thickness requirements for safe operations. Any issues found during inspection will be reported before reassembly. All friction brakes will be reassembled and adjusted to manufacturer’s specifications. Government will provide certified, qualified, and designated operators for inspections, and to operate the LHE. Wire rope shall be inspected in accordance with the appropriate and applicable sections of OSHA 1910, 1926, ASME B30, EM 385-1-1, and manufacturer’s recommendations.

The NWD-CENWO has a requirement from the USDA-ARS to provide construction services to build a new Dairy Forage Research Center (DFRC) at Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
The Rough Order of Magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
USACE and USDA-ARS entered into an agreement for CENWO to serve as design and construction agent to build a new Dairy Forage Research Center (DFRC) at the USDA-ARS site at Prairie du Sac, WI. The DFRC supports the USDA-ARS’s mission to accommodate up to 452 lactating cows (maximum), 144 calves, 1300 acres of crops production, 900 acres of pasture and perennials, 12 permanent researchers and staff, up to 12 operations and maintenance personnel, and up to 10 student researchers.
The US Dairy Forage Research Center is located on an approximately 75-acre site on the recently acquired Badger Army Ammunition Plant (BAAP) in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. The Center includes 18 buildings and support structures interconnected by manure collection, transport, and digester system; the approximate combined gross square footage of construction is 642,000 Gross Square Foot (GSF). Construction of approximately 254,003 Building Gross Square Foot (BGSF) of new production, research, operations, and maintenance facilities and supporting infrastructure. Most of the center's construction will be comprised of pre-framed, pre- engineered metal buildings supported on concrete spread footings with the exception of the Lab and Administration Building which will have a laminated wood building structure supported on spread footings with preformed metal panel exterior enclosure.

The TH-1H requires updated software to sustain the fleet. BCC 2.0 will incorporate seventeen Software Change Requests (SCRs) which affects the Operational Flight Programs (OFP) for the Multi-Function Display (MFD) software. TH-1H software sustainment provides updated software which corrects deficiencies and provides enhancements to the affected software. BCC 2.0 will implement multiple SCRs for the MFDs, including fixes to multiple annunciators displays to include warnings, cautions, advisories and exceedances, addition of further available information to the attitude indication, and modifying/adding certain data storage protocols and retrieval capabilities.
Contract value was established utilizing input from the OEM's ROM and business cost analysis to include test, overhead, installation, and technical order updates. The effort will utilize CAM funding that has been apportioned for 2nd quarter of FY24. The contract will utilize Firm Fixed Price, Not Separately Priced, and Cost Reimbursable CLINs. A FFP arrangement applies to specific CLINs and is the best pricing arrangement for those CLINS. A Cost Reimbursement arrangement applies to the Travel CLIN. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a contract, using other than full and open competition, to DRS Naval Power Systems, Inc. located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, for post-production warranty and related ancillary support for the Air & Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Power Conversion Module (PCM).
The contemplated action is a continuation of the previous contract with DRS Naval Power Systems, Inc. (N00024-14-C-4200) which funded the design, development, software, and hardware procurement of the AMDR PCM. The contemplated action is comprised of the following efforts:
The contemplated contract will include Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) line items for specific post-warranty hardware, software, and integration efforts.
